Carpentry Worker
Duties will include but not limited to completing work involving remodeling, construction, repairs and installations to framework, floor joists, roof sheathing, decking, doors, windows, forming concrete. Able to measure, cut and install woodworking through on-site measurements, verbal directions and drawings and specifications. Able to operate a wide variety of tools associated with the carpentry trade. May be required to work weekends. Physical Demands:
Incumbent works in shops, other buildings, and at construction and repair sites. Climbs on ladders and scaffolds, Work requires reaching overhead and bending, kneeling, and other awkward positions. Lifts heavy objects such as rafters and beams. Carry objects up to 40 pounds and occasionally lifts or moves items with the assistance of lifting devices or other workers. Working Conditions:
Works both inside and outside, Some work is performed in shop areas where worker is exposed to moderate to high noise levels and dust. Exposed to hazards associated while working on scaffolds or ladders. Subject to cuts, bruises, slivers, and falling objects. Uses protective equipment such as earplugs, eye protection, breathing protection, gloves, and helmets.
