Maintenance Worker (General)

Work will be in performing simple and routine work involved in the maintenance and repair of grounds, exterior structures, buildings and related utilities, requiring the use of variety of trade practices and tools associated with occupations such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical, cement work, painting, and other related trades.Position will be required to collect trash, mow, weed eat, clean campsites, fire grills, clean and service chemical toilets, restrooms/showers and other campground or visitor facilities. Will work directly under the area Supervisor, Work Leader or other higher graded position. Assists in the maintenance and construction of graded and paved trails, trail drainage, trail bridges, and guard rails. Weekend work may be required. Physical Demands:
Physical effort is heavy to moderate, and requires occasional lifting or handling of objects or materials up to 50 pounds, unassisted, following proper lifting procedures to avoid injury. Frequently required to stand while working, climb ladders or scaffolding, and bend, stoop, climb, and work in awkward positions. Working Conditions:
Exposed to a variety of seasonal weather conditions while working outdoors (temperatures -40 to 90
degrees). Subject to danger of falling from ladders or scaffolding. Exposed to dust, dirt, wind, and rain. May work with dangerous chemicals and around moving equipment; paints, solvents, etc. May be exposed to electrical shocks, and biting insects. If the incumbent of this position operates a motor vehicle, they must have a valid State Driver's License. Weekend and Holiday work maybe required. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
