Maintenance Worker (Trails)

Major Duties:
Primary duties of this position are to perform recurring building and /or utility maintenance and operation duties and to assist journeymen and other higher graded maintenance workers. Work will consist of carpentry, painting, plumbing, roofing, electrical, cement work, masonry, custodial/labor, mowing/weed eating, and operation of various types of motor vehicles, loaders, bobcat, and other equipment. Duties require a working knowledge of accepted practices of the applicable trades, crafts and equipment operations areas. The incumbent must be able to work with the care for common power and hand tools as well as work with the materials associated with the trades. Works from sketches, work orders, basic blue prints and verbal instructions which are complete in terms of type of job required and materials and methods to be used. Incumbent is responsible for detailed layout, selection of tools and materials and for accuracy, completeness and adherence to standards. Incumbent preforms assigned tasks independently, with no technical assistance. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
